BetterClaw
Connect Your Tools

Integrations overview

Connect messaging apps, external tools, and credentials to your agents.

Connect your tools

BetterClaw connects your agents to the outside world in three distinct ways. They look similar but solve different problems, so it helps to know which one you need.

Integrations

Messaging bots — Telegram, Discord, Slack — that let people reach an agent from the apps they already use.

Connectors

Tool integrations — Gmail, Zendesk, PostHog, and more — that an agent uses to get work done.

Secrets

An encrypted vault for standalone API keys and credentials your agents need.

Integrations

Integrations let people message an agent from outside BetterClaw. Each bot is paired to one of your agents, and you choose whether it responds to everyone or only an allowlist of users.

Telegram

Connect a Telegram bot with a token from @BotFather.

Discord

Add a Discord bot and add it to your server.

Slack

Authorize a Slack app for your workspace.

Connectors and secrets

Connectors and secrets work together. A connector handles signing in to a service and exposes its tools to your agents; the secrets vault stores standalone credentials — API keys, logins, OAuth grants — that you assign to agents directly. Every read of a secret is recorded in the audit log.
