Results & deliverables

Whether work happens in a chat or a task, the agent reports progress as it goes and returns deliverables — files you can preview inline and download.

Progress

• In a chat, the agent streams its reply live, with a Thinking… indicator showing its reasoning and elapsed time. Expand Thought for Xs afterward to review the steps.
• In a task run, a progress bar and live status show how far along the agent is. A collapsible Timeline records each progress update, and a recurring task's run history lists every past execution with its status and duration.

You don't need to refresh — updates arrive in real time.

Deliverables

Files the agent produces appear as deliverable cards in the chat thread, the chat Summary panel, and the task's Result section. Each card shows the filename, size, and file type.

Agents can return documents and data such as:

• Documents — PDF, DOCX
• Spreadsheets — XLSX, CSV
• Data — JSON
• Images, audio, and video
• Plain text, Markdown, and other files

Preview & download

Click a deliverable to open it in the file viewer:

• In a chat, the viewer opens as a resizable side panel — drag its left edge to widen it, or press Esc to close.
• It previews PDF, DOCX, images, spreadsheets (XLSX/CSV), audio, video, Markdown, and plain text inline. If a type can't be rendered, the viewer offers Download instead.
• Copy the file's contents or Download it from the viewer header, or use the download button directly on any deliverable card.

History & retention

Chat and task history is retained according to your plan:

• Free: 7 days
• Pro: 180 days of archived history
