What is the difference between a connector and an MCP server?

Both give your agent tools in an app. Connectors come from BetterClaw's catalog. MCP servers are run by the app's vendor or by you, and BetterClaw connects to them as a client. When both exist for the same app, the agent uses the MCP server.

Can one agent use several apps in one job?

Yes. For example, read an email in Gmail, update the deal in HubSpot and post an alert in Slack, all in one workflow.

Can I connect more than one account for the same app?

Yes. Give each account a label and choose which agents can use it.

Does the agent see my passwords?

No. Credentials are stored encrypted and agents never see them.
