Starts on schedule: weekdays, 8 am
Once you turn it on, it runs on its own on this schedule. You can change the days, time and time zone.
Search for buyers
Searches Reddit, X, Hacker News, Quora, Indie Hackers and industry forums for posts from the last three days where someone needs what you sell: asking for recommendations or alternatives, describing the problem, or unhappy with what they use now. It keeps real people with real intent, not vendors, news or job posts, and writes a short reply that helps first.
Log and email
Logs each signal in your Google Sheet (or creates a "Buying signals" sheet) and emails you the best three with their links and suggested replies. No signals means no email.

Buying Signal Hunter: common questions
What counts as a buying signal?
A real person asking for a recommendation or an alternative, describing the problem you solve, or unhappy with what they use now. Vendors, news and job posts are left out.
Is this OK on Reddit?
It never posts. You reply yourself, so follow each community's rules as you normally would.
Which sites does it search?
Reddit, X, Hacker News, Quora, Indie Hackers and industry forums, for posts from the last three days.
Will the replies sound salesy?
Each reply answers the person's question first and mentions your offer only if it truly fits. It never claims anything your own description of the offer doesn't say.
What do I need to tell it?
What you sell, who it's for and the problem it solves. Optionally, add the phrases your customers use to describe the problem.
Is there an n8n template for this?
You don't need one. This workflow is already built: connect your apps and it runs, with nothing to wire up or host.
Which apps do I need to connect?
Gmail and Google Sheets. You connect each one once, in a click, when you set the workflow up.
What can I change?
What you sell, How people describe the problem, Google Sheet for signals. Only what you sell is required; the rest have sensible defaults.
Can I change the schedule or the steps?
Yes. Installing copies the whole workflow into your workspace as a draft, and from then on it's yours: reword any step, change the settings, and pick the schedule and time zone (it suggests weekdays, 8 am). Nothing runs until you run it or publish it.
Which AI model runs it?
The agent you choose when you install it. The workflow uses that agent's model, tools and memory, and you can move it to another agent later.
Related workflows
