Once you turn it on, it runs on its own on this schedule. You can change the days, time and time zone.

1

Check their pages

Opens each competitor page you list, such as pricing, features and changelog, and compares it with last week's notes. Only real changes count: a new price, a plan or feature added or removed, a new headline or new changelog entries. Anything it can't confirm is left out.

2

Look for news

Looks for what each competitor announced in the last 7 days, including launches, pricing, funding and big hires, from their blog, their changelog and a quick web search.

Competitor Monitor: common questions

Can it watch changelogs?

Yes. List any page per competitor, such as pricing, features or changelog. New changelog entries count as a change.

How does it avoid noise?

Only real changes count: a new price, a plan or feature added or removed, a new headline or new changelog entries. Anything it can't confirm is left out.

Does it check their social media or ads?

No. It checks the pages you list, plus news of launches and funding.

How does it know why a change matters?

Add a sentence about what you sell and it uses that to explain why each change matters to you.

Which apps do I need to connect?

Gmail. You connect it once, in a click, when you set the workflow up.

What can I change?

Competitors to watch, What you sell. Only competitors to watch is required; the rest have sensible defaults.

Can I change the schedule or the steps?

Yes. Installing copies the whole workflow into your workspace as a draft, and from then on it's yours: reword any step, change the settings, and pick the schedule and time zone (it suggests mondays, 9 am). Nothing runs until you run it or publish it.

Which AI model runs it?

The agent you choose when you install it. The workflow uses that agent's model, tools and memory, and you can move it to another agent later.
